First of all, I like to thank all who went through my classes, in-person and online. It was an extraordinary year. I was absolutely thrilled to witness everyone create beautiful works using plant materials, bees, birds and other faunal elements. All the results are being presented at Brushwood Gallery from January 8th to February 27th, 2023, and virtually at www.brushwoodcenter,org I hope you will have a chance to view the exhibit.

For the new year, I updated the classes in Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced Level on my website, www.heeyoungkim.net The website also has a new look with separate pages added for each level to give the viewer a quick overview.  I am especially excited to come back to Brushwood Center for the Monday open workshop. The inspirational woodland is just a perfect place for me and my students to study and paint what we love. Some precious plants and animals from there will be reborn in our paintings very soon.
